Scenerio 1:
Rent 00, 2 bed, 3 bath, washer/dryer inside unit, garage parking, 2 stories, spacious condo with patio, fireplace, central air/heat. I’d rent out 1 bedroom for 0 to break even with scenerio below (close to a major university so I can get trustworthy student)

Scnerio 2:
Rent 00, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, shared coin laundry outside unit, this is where I currently live, heater doesn’t work, AC is wall unit that only cools living room so it gets hot in bedroom during warm months, the plus is obviously that no roomate. (Please note I own the condo in scenerio 1 so I do already pay prop taxes, association fees etc without making use of living in it).

Tennants gave notice to move out of scnerio 1 so I am trying to decide if I should move in, or stay where I’m at. Please help with your opinion! thanks.
